London born R’n’B and soul singer, Rainy Milo, performed her most recent EP ‘I knew I had a heart‘ at an intimate show at Archspace, London just a few weeks ago.

This girl has a lovely soulful tone to her voice, but also embraces her London upbringing which you can witness through her songs. You can see this come through as she adds confidence, sass and a little bit of attitude to some of her tracks, which I love.

From listening to her music and seeing her live on stage, I can see some influences of Sadé and Jhené Aiko (two amazing singers, that I also adore).
I say this based on the soulful touch to her voice, but with the ability to bring it back with some attitude and empowerment.

On top of having a beautiful voice to listen to, I have to mention how much I love her style. She has her own street chíc look and pulls it off pretty well!

Also, it was lovely to see the support she got from friends at the side of the stage, singing along to every word of her tracks.

With the support surrounding her, soulful voice and her own style, it shouldn’t take long for her to blow up, I’m sure.
