National Park

Iceland has to be one of the most naturally beautiful places I have seen. Despite the sub-zero temperatures, it was one of the most chilled-out breaks I’ve had. You’ll find yourself sightseeing in the day and chilling out with a nice hot chocolate in the evening.
Gullfoss Waterfall

The waterfall was absolutely stunning to see that close-up, it was probably the coldest I have ever felt in my life but definitely worth every bit of it.
Blue Lagoon

Blue Lagoon is everything it is hyped up to be, it’s definitely an experience. It’s surprisingly comforting stepping in to a pool of hot natural water after a day of walking around in the cold. The minerals in the water and face masks leave your body feeling extremely soft and refreshed.
Relaxing in the Blue Lagoon with a face mask on and a glass of sparkling wine, a perfect Saturday to me.
Streets of Reykjavik

Reykjavik is a pretty cool place with loads of little shops and restaurants and loved the surprising use of graffiti in some places. Definitely helped to add colour to a city which has around 4 hours of sunshine in the winter.
Just be aware that it is pretty pricey over there, I paid around £15 for a starter which would normally cost around £7 or £8 in the UK. Also, if you want to see the Nothern Lights make sure you check the weather. You need to have a clear sky to see it, and unfortunately that’s why I never got the chance to see them.
Always a reason to go back that way now 🙂
Loved this! 🙂 Im excited to go now!
